ASEBP also provides benefit coverage options for those school employees that wish to retire early, or for employees that are classified as substitute teachers or casual staff members.

Early retirees have the choice between two benefit packages, which can include Life Insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment, Extended Health Care, Dental Care and Vision Care plans. Extended Disability Benefits is the only plan not available to early retirees.

Substitute teachers and casual staff (STACS) are offered a unique benefit package that can includes Life Insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment, and Extended Health Care, with an option to add Dental Care.
